Installing in four steps

  1. Download the right package

    Find your system in the cards above. On phones the store build is preferable because updates arrive automatically.

  2. Verify the file

    Desktop installers publish a SHA-256 value. Check it with your system's built-in command so you never run a modified file.

  3. Allow the network component

    Windows needs permission for a virtual adapter, macOS asks you to approve a network extension, and phones request a VPN profile.

  4. Sign in and connect

    Log in with your subscription account and press connect for automatic routing, or pin a node from the list.

Tip: if security software blocks the installer, add the file to its allow list and try again. The FAQ covers the remaining cases.

Download and installation questions

The download reports a corrupted file. What now?
An interrupted transfer is the usual cause. Download again and compare the SHA-256 value. If it repeats, use the browser directly instead of a download manager.
Can two versions coexist on one computer?
It is not advisable. A new installer replaces the virtual adapter driver, and keeping both often breaks the connection.
No app store on my phone. How do I install?
A direct APK is published here. Allow unknown sources before installing, then switch that permission off again.
Are administrator rights required?
On desktop yes, because a virtual network adapter is created. Phones only need you to accept the VPN profile.
